The Explore In Lanka Private Ltd (‘the Company’, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’) accepts bookings subject to the following conditions. These conditions will be applicable only for tour arrangements booked by the clients with the company. Once you book your tickets with us, it means that you have accepted our terms and conditions in the correct manner. All references in these conditions such as “booking”, “tour” or “arrangements” mean the tour arrangements and do not specify anything particular. Please ensure to read the terms and conditions on our website to get a clear idea of your respective rights.
1. Your Tour Contract
The contract placed between the Client and the Company (between “you” and “our company”) is important to us. We assure you that the contract placed between us will not be revealed to any private third parties. Explore In Lanka will stand with its customers in matters of any dispute, claim, or disagreements arising between us. However, we are not responsible for problems caused by your personal matters. No employee in the company, other than the director of Explore In Lanka, has the right to vary or omit any of these terms. No promises will be offered for discounts or promotions unless it is made in written form.
2. Secure your Booking
To secure the booking, Explore In Lanka requires customers to pay a minimum deposit. This is mandatory for all tour packages and, in some cases, a higher deposit amount will be requested to cover payment conditions. Please read the booking conditions and general information of the selected tour package. Any doubts regarding the booking process can be clarified over the phone or by sending an email to exploreinlanka@gmail.com. The company will assist you in any tour-related matters.
3. Payment for your Tour
After paying the deposit, you are required to pay the balance amount within one week. In certain cases, customers may be asked to pay the full amount at an earlier stage before the holiday begins. The “balance due date” will be communicated to the customer at the time of direct contact in our office or through email. In case of non-payment, the company has the right to cancel your booking at any time.
All payments should be made to this account only and not to any other personal accounts, UPI, or GPay numbers.
4. Change in Booking
If you wish to make any changes to your booking, you are requested to visit our branch office with your receipts. Changes will only be made under certain emergency conditions. Repeated changes will not be entertained. Only minor changes are allowed and are subject to approval under specific conditions.
5. Cancellation of Booking
Cancellation of booking is allowed but depends on the situation. You have the right to cancel tickets under certain circumstances. You must inform us through call or email before a stipulated period of time. Cancellation charges may apply in some cases. Please note that amounts paid may not be refunded.
6. Complaints
If you have any complaints regarding holiday arrangements, you have the right to complain to us at exploreinlanka@gmail.com. We are eager to hear your concerns and will resolve them to the best extent possible. Please specify the nature of the complaint in your email. Our customer service team will review the issue and respond within 24 hours.
7. Our Responsibility for your Tour
We ensure that each holiday arrangement is handled with great care and attention. Explore In Lanka is responsible for its employees, agents, and suppliers during the course of travel. However, we are not responsible for any criminal or violent acts that may take place during your travel. We advise you to act diligently, enjoy your trip, and stay away from all illegal activities during your journey.
8. Brochure/ Website/ Advertising
The information contained in our website, brochures, itineraries, and other advertising materials is believed to be clear and accurate for all visitors. However, errors may occasionally occur, and information may be changed at any time. We request all customers to review the terms and conditions at the time of booking. 9. No Smoking Policy
We request all our customers to refrain from smoking during travel. Smoking is hazardous to health and affects the well-being of both you and others. Smoking is strictly prohibited in vehicles provided by us.
